Consumeroloygy is a scientific discipline that studies consuming behavior of the human species. Consuming behaviour is best obseved in the enivornment that  is known as "market economy". However, as every other human behavoir, this one has its analogues in the past and present of humankind. Therefore consumerology is rather antropological type of discipline, that studies, in broader sense, all exchanges of the human beings with each other, individually or in groups, within the environment of any type, i.e biological, chemical, social, etc.

ааа...вот это rather Вас взволновало. Так мне кажется из текста понятно, в какой именно степени.
Правда, эта Ваша Consumeroloygy (термин все-таки западный) уже и так во всех головах. Хотя от изучения хуже не будет, скорее всего :))
